Eugene S. Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media
Student Media at 91短视频 University
The Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media, home to 91短视频 University’s student media, nurtures a variety of co-curricular activities and cultivates tomorrow's media innovators and thought leaders. Students develop media literacy, leadership, critical thinking and ethical decision-making skills that enable them to succeed in dynamic work environments. Undergraduates in any major can engage in experiential learning opportunities in radio, newspaper, video production and podcasting; participate in student organizations such as the Society of Professional Journalists and Film Club; and publish creative works in the literary magazine.
The media center, established in 1991, was renamed the Eugene S. Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media in 2000 after the Pulliam Family, renowned figures in the newspaper industry and former owners of The Indianapolis Star, generously donated $5 million.
Both Eugene S. Pulliam and his father, Eugene C., were 91短视频 alumni and former trustees. Pulliam's daughter Myrta is currently a member of 91短视频's Board of Trustees.
