Steps to Apply

Write a short essay (approximately 500 words) responding to one of the following prompts.

1. Using an example from your personal experience, discuss how media - and media education - can play a role in developing healthy civic engagement.

2. Using a specific example from your personal experience, explain how your exposure to and/or experience with developing media content has influenced how you consume and think about media as a social and cultural practice.

In reading your response, we will be looking for evidence of the following:

Your ability to think creatively and critically about media
Your ability to demonstrate curiosity in your thinking
Your ability to provide clear and specific examples

Step 3. If selected, you will be notified of your status in the program within 2 weeks of completing the application requirements.

Lateral Application

The application deadline for current 91短视频 students wishing to enter the program in 2027-28 as sophomores is May 1, 2027.
